CEWD Financial Assistance

CEWD offers financial assistance for vocational training programs and courses to students who meet specific criteria. 

FASFA does not apply to CEWD courses.

CEWD Workforce Training programs do not qualify for Federal Pell Grants and are not 1098-T form eligible.

Texas Public Education Grants (TPEG)
State legislation has made grant funds available to students with financial need for workforce and career training classes. Limited funds are available for persons who qualify to assist with payment of a percentage of tuition for vocational courses. These limited funds are distributed on a first come, first serve basis for qualified applicants, and vary by course. Books are not included. This grant does not require repayment and is applicable for programs with tuition over $1000.

 

ACC Foundation CEWD Scholarship

Through an ACC Foundation scholarship, up to $500 is available for qualified current CEWD student. Visit The POD/Paying for College/Scholarships to apply.   

The CDL-Truck Driving and Dental Assistant programs are approved for Chapter 33, Chapter 30, Chapter 1606, Chapter 1607, Chapter 35 and Chapter 31 VA funds. For more information on VA Funding contact our veteran adviser at Veterans@7n7vh.com.

Alternative student loans, also known as private student loans, are specialized college student loans designed to provide supplemental funding to cover costs associated with college.  They are typically provided by banks or other institutions and are not federally funded.  More information can be found by searching "alternative student loans" online.
